The i-League, hosted and organized by the Korea Football Association since 2013, is a club league for preschoolers and teenagers. Unlike professional youth competitions, it is a festival venue where various educational and cultural experiences are combined with soccer.
According to the association on the 19th, this year's league will be divided into six categories (U-6, U-8, U-10, U-12, U-15, and U-18) in 40 regions nationwide, with about 14,000 players from 1,200 teams participating.
The league will be played in a total of eight rounds until October.
Apart from the league, the 'i-League Summer Soccer Festival', the largest national youth and youth soccer festival in Korea, will be held in August during the summer vacation.
In November, when the league ends, a championship is scheduled to gather outstanding teams to determine the best team. The U-12 championship winner will be given a chance to play in overseas exchange matches.
At Gangseo Sports Park in Busan, where the official opening game will be held on the 20th, four elementary school divisions (U-6, U-8, U-10, and U-12) will be held in Dongnae-gu, Busan. A total of 300 players from 37 teams will participate, and in addition to soccer games, various events and experience events for children to enjoy will be operated. 스포츠토토
